Postby Splinter » Wed Sep 01, 2010 5:03 pm | #1

Hi Folks,

Now Im sure there are many of you out there thinking,' you know we just have way too many mats in my dojo, wish there was something I could do about that'.

Allow me to help you  :D

Im looking for mats to help start a new club.
Beggars cant be choosers we will take what we can get, but preferences are :
1 - mats are free or low cost
2 - and ideally geographically close to Bristol so that transport is practical.

either reply here or PM me

Thanks

BKS Club?, TJF club?  Something else?

Anyhow, have you tried KK?  He usually seems to have more mats than he knows what to do with!

"A mat"!  Just how big is this club gonna be?  In answer to your question, you could pick it up, right? :P

Surely the more saliant question is how big is the mat (which may answer the second part of your post... :P )
Define irony -
People paying hundreds of pounds a year to get punched in the face, shouted at, thrown to the floor and have their joints locked up, in order to learn how to not get mugged.

Its an old style canvas covered tattami so techniically it can be called one mat, even though there are 32 (or36) within the frame.

:P back at ya
